Rural & Small Agents Conference

About the Conference

The Larry Magill Rural & Small Agents Conference, held each year in January, is the largest conference of independent agents in the state. Geared toward small and mid-size independent agencies and those working in rural areas, this three-day event includes:
  • The opportunity to earn up to 12 continuing education credits in one setting in the areas of E&O, ethics, property & casualty, life & health and agribusiness/crop;
  • Recognition of Kansas agents earning the CIC and CISR designations;
  • Trade show, prizes and plenty of fun networking events

Hotel Reservations

If you haven't already made hotel reservations in Hutchinson, the following hotels have room blocks and special rates available for Rural & Small attendees. The conference will be based at the Atrium Hotel & Conference Center (1400 N. Lorraine 800-362-5018, $75 per night. Reservation cut-off is Jan. 11.)  All other hotels are within easy driving distance from the Atrium.
