Kansas Association of Insurance Agents Hires Director of Business Development

Independent agent joins association staff to drive growth and member engagement

June 15, 2021 - Topeka, Kansas - Josh Goodman is joining the Kansas Association of Insurance Agents’ (KAIA) team as its new Director of Business Development. Goodman had been active in KAIA leadership for many years, including as a KAIA board member and past Young Agents Chairperson. He started the J. Goodman Insurance Agency in 2010 and sold it to Haas & Wilkerson Insurance in 2019, where he served as a commercial line producer. Goodman holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Kansas State University, a Graduate Degree from the University of Kansas, and the CPCU, AIC, AIT, and CCIC insurance designations. His official start date is Monday, July 12, 2021.

“Josh’s background as an independent agency owner, his involvement in the leadership of the association, and his existing industry network will make him an incredible asset to the association and our members,” says KAIA Executive Director Dave Hulcher. “The entire KAIA team is looking forward to working with Josh to grow our membership, increase engagement with our Industry Partners, and ensure our members are aware of all of the valuable products and services available to them.”
