YAK Auction and Fundraising

The YAK Auction was a standout success, setting a new fundraising record with over $25,000 raised to support the Young Agents of Kansas’ initiatives. In addition, this year’s auction helped launch YAK’s 2025 community service project benefiting Grace’s Guardians, a nonprofit that provides care packages to children undergoing cancer treatment. The auction raised over $1,000 for the cause, with a goal to raise $6,000—enough to assemble 10 care packages.

To encourage donations and rally support, YAK and KAIA Board members added a fun twist:

  • At $2,000 raised, Jordan Crow will dye her hair pink
  • At $3,000, Haley Marsicek joins the pink club
  • At $4,500, Dave Vogel will follow suit
  • And at $6,000, Bryan Schmitz will shave his head into a mohawk and dye it pink!

Big-ticket auction items included:

  • A Royals Signature Suite for 20 guests provided by IPFS
  • A custom Henry Golden Boy .22LR Rifle donated by SBS Insurance Agency
  • The always-popular 4th Annual Seafood Boil hosted by Smart Insurance
