2026 President’s Classic Golf Tournament and Auction

The 2026 KAIA President’s Classic Golf Tournament and Auction took place August 31–September 1, bringing together independent agents, industry partners, and friends of the association for another successful event. This year, the dinner and auction were held at the Cosmosphere, while the golf tournament took place at Crazy Horse Sports Club and Golf Course. Attendees also had the option to participate in an alternate outing at Inland Ocean Vineyards.

Sponsors and Participation

We extend our sincere thanks to the generous sponsors who helped make this year’s event possible: ASCK, Eaton Roofing & Exteriors, EMC, MEM, Imperial PFS, Swiss Re, West Bend Insurance Co., Bremen Farmers Mutual, Progressive, Cochrane & Company, Burns & Wilcox, IDEAL Agriculture & Marine, Travelers, JenCap, REInsurePro, Graham-Rogers, KBIG, Capital Premium Finance, Kansas Mutual, Liberty Mutual, Farmers Alliance, and Nationwide.

The event brought together 115 dinner attendees, 26 golf teams totaling 104 golfers, and 11 participants in the alternate outing. Despite incredibly hot weather, everyone came together for a fun and memorable event filled with great golf, fellowship, and support for YAK.

YAK Auction and Fundraising

The YAK Auction raised an impressive $23,590 to support YAK initiatives, programs, scholarships, and events. We are incredibly grateful to all of the auction donors and attendees whose generosity continues to support the next generation of insurance professionals.

The auction also helped kick off fundraising for YAK’s 2026 community service project benefiting MyHeartCheck. With the help of auction attendees, YAK has currently raised $5,000 toward its $5,500 goal, which will help provide heart screenings through the MyHeartCheck program.

As an added fundraising incentive, Dave Hulcher agreed to wear a wig during all three days of KAIA’s Annual Convention and attendees had the opportunity to bid on who would get to choose Dave’s wigs, with Bob Fee, Bryan Schmitz, and Lyle Davidson placing the winning bids.

The 2026 KAIA President’s Classic Golf Tournament and Auction was another tremendous success. We are grateful to KAIA President Dave Vogel for his leadership, as well as the YAK Committee, auction donors, sponsors, and everyone who participated and helped make the event possible.

From a day of hot-weather golf to a memorable evening at the Cosmosphere, the event brought our industry together while raising important funds to support YAK and its efforts to give back to the insurance community and beyond.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s President’s Classic a success. We look forward to another great event next year!
